Planned Power Outage - Husum, Trout Lake and Glenwood 06/22-06/23/19

KPUD will have a planned power outage taking place on Saturday, June 22 beginning at 11:00PM and lasting until Sunday, June 23rd at 3:00AM. This outage will be for Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) and Klickitat PUD to perform critical emergency substation maintenance and will affect all customers fed out of the Husum, Gilmer and Glenwood substations. This will affect all customers in Husum, Northwestern Lakes, Spring Creek, Rattlesnake Rd., the Knoll, Arnett Rd., Glenwood, the Klickitat Fish Hatchery, Lakeside Rd, BZ Glenwood Hwy, the Trout Lake Hwy, Bird Creek Rd., Mt. Adams Hwy, Draper Springs, Laurel Rd., Trout Lake, BZ, the Gilmer Valley, Jennings Rd., Little Mountain Rd. and the Oakridge Rd. areas.

Dear Klickitat PUD customer:

KPUD will have a planned power outage taking place on Saturday, June 22 beginning at 11:00PM and lasting until Sunday, June 23rd at 3:00AM. Due to the emergency status of this outage, time did not allot for mailing letters.

This outage will be for Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) and Klickitat PUD to perform critical emergency substation maintenance and will affect all customers fed out of the Husum, Gilmer and Glenwood substations. This will affect all customers in Husum, Northwestern Lakes, Spring Creek, Rattlesnake Rd., the Knoll, Arnett Rd., Glenwood, the Klickitat Fish Hatchery, Lakeside Rd, BZ Glenwood Hwy, the Trout Lake Hwy, Bird Creek Rd., Mt. Adams Hwy, Draper Springs, Laurel Rd., Trout Lake, BZ, the Gilmer Valley, Jennings Rd., Little Mountain Rd. and the Oakridge Rd. areas.

The times stated for this planned outage are based on the best information we have available ahead of time, so please be aware that the power could come back on at any time without prior notice. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you in advance for your cooperation. We understand there is never a perfect time for the power to be out, but by performing these routine outages with some advance planning, our system can be better prepared to handle weather extremes and other variables at times when you count on electricity most.
